Field work in Copenhagen

Guenter Stummvoll has spent 3 days in Copenhagen. After a visit at the Danish Crime Prevention Council he was guided through three different housing estates by the Architect Prof. Bo Gronlund, who explained in detail the development of the Danish Crime Prevention Standard on Violence and Vandalism and the Standard on Prevention of Burglary from the beginning in the 1980s until today. The development of the European Standard on Crime Prevention by Urban Planning and Design (CEN/TR14383-2) and the Danish contribution was discussed in detail.
